Steven Denzien has a diverse work experience in the field of fire and emergency services. Steven most recently served as the Fire Chief for the Town of Grand Chute. Prior to that, they worked as an Instructor at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Steven has also held the position of Fire Chief at the City of Two Rivers Fire Department and Division Chief of Training at the Lisbon Fire Department / Bark River Training. Earlier in their career, they served as a FF/Paramedic/Acting Deputy Chief at the City of Brookfield Fire Department and as a Lieutenant at the Town of Brookfield Fire Department. In addition to their roles in the fire service, Steven has also worked as a PALS Instructor and ACLS Instructor at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
Steven Denzien has a comprehensive education history that has equipped him with the requisite knowledge and skills for their roles as CFO, CTO, and Executive Fire Officer (EFO). Beginning in 1994, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Following this, from 1997 to 2009, Denzien attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Service Management. Seeking further academic excellence, they then enrolled at Grand Canyon University in 2009, completing a Master of Science degree in Executive Fire Service Leadership in 2010. Most recently, Denzien attended the National Fire Academy from 2015 to 2018 to enhance their expertise in executive fire operations. Overall, Denzien's educational journey showcases their dedication to expanding their knowledge in fire service management and leadership, which serves as a strong foundation for their current roles.
