Tom Watson has a strong background in finance, with over 20 years of experience in various director-level roles. Tom most recently served as the Director of Finance for the Town of Grand Chute since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked for GovTempsUSA from July 2020 to May 2023, where they acted as an interim Finance Director for small to medium-sized government entities. Before joining GovTempsUSA, Tom was self-employed as a Finance Director from January 2020 to May 2023. Tom also held the position of Finance Director for the City of Mequon from July 2007 to January 2020, and Assistant Finance Director from January 2005 to June 2007. Tom's earlier experience includes working as a Finance Director for the Village of Grafton from April 2002 to June 2004. Overall, Tom brings extensive finance expertise and leadership skills to their roles.

Tom Watson has obtained several degrees and certifications throughout their education and career. Tom attended Marquette University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Later, they pursued further education at Marquette University and completed an MBA degree with a focus on Finance.

In addition to their degrees, Tom has also obtained several professional certifications. In 1999, they became a Certified Management Accountant through the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants. Tom further enhanced their credentials by obtaining the Certified Public Finance Officer certification from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) in 2012. Finally, in 2015, Tom achieved the Silver Level certification from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants.
