Matthew Grant

Matthew Grant currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Greater Napanee, providing strategic and operational leadership since June 2024. Prior to this, Matthew held various significant roles, including Director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives for the City of Hamilton, where leadership of a communications division was essential. Additional experience includes positions such as Director of Media Relations at the University of Waterloo, Associate Director of Public Affairs at the University of British Columbia, and Press Secretary for the Government of Alberta. Matthew has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Conestoga College and Yukon College, specializing in communications and journalism. Matthew's educational background includes a Master of Journalism from The University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Western University, and a Certificate of Japanese Language Studies from Yoshida Language Academy.
