Matt Carroll

Matt Carroll currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Shaker Heights, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this, Matt Carroll worked for Cuyahoga County in various roles, including Chief Economic Growth and Opportunity Officer and Chief of Staff, while also serving in the Department of Health and Human Services. Matt Carroll has extensive experience in public health as the Director of the Cleveland Department of Public Health, focusing on critical health initiatives and operations. Early career experience includes roles such as Manager of Administrative Operations for Cuyahoga County, Deputy Director at ParkWorks, Inc., and Assistant Director of Law for the Cleveland Department of Law. Matt Carroll holds a J.D. from Georgetown Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Brown University.
