Chris Blankenship

Chris Blankenship is currently the Fire Chief at the Town of Hilton Head Island, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as Deputy Fire Chief at Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue from January 2018 to September 2022.

Chris Blankenship earned a Bachelor's degree in Fire Services Administration from Eastern Kentucky University, which they attended from 1998 to 2002. Chris later pursued a Master's degree in Executive Leadership from Waldorf University, where they studied from 2018 to 2021.
