Daniel McConnell

Daniel McConnell has held various positions in the field of information systems. Daniel started their career at the University of Arizona BookStores in 2000 as a Technology Student. Over the years, they progressed through different roles such as Office Automation Specialist, System Administrator - Student, System Administrator, System Administrator - Senior, Assistant Director Information System, and eventually became the Associate Director, Information Systems in April 2018. In February 2023, they joined the Town of Marana as the Technology Services - Deputy Director.

Daniel McConnell obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona in 2008. Daniel also holds additional certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and certifications in Information Systems Security Professionals and Senior Systems Managers from CNSS • National Security Systems. Additionally, they have certifications in Systems Administration, Risk Analyst, and CompTIA A+ from CNSS • National Security Systems and CompTIA respectively.
