Susana Alonso

Susana Alonso, AICP, is a highly experienced planning and transportation professional currently serving as the Principal Town and Transportation Planner for the Town of Miami Lakes, Florida, since November 2016. Previously, Susana held roles as a Senior Planner for the City of Miami Beach from May 2002 to June 2012 and as a Planning and Design Consultant from June 2012 to August 2018. Susana Alonso obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from Louisiana Tech University and has furthered education at institutions including Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, the University of Miami, and SUNY Broome Community College, where an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Engineering Science was earned.
