Cymone B. is an experienced planning and development professional currently serving as the Planning, DEI, and Development Review Director for the Town of Milton since June 2020, where notable achievements include the creation of a 5-year strategic action plan focused on age-friendly and accessible development. Previous experience includes roles as a Planner at the Three Rivers Regional Commission, where Cymone developed regional plans for sustainable growth, and as a Small Business Owner at ATHGOA Inc and GMS Genius, LLC, which focused on enhancing career development for BIPOC and women professionals, including creating a successful scholarship writing course. Additional experience encompasses consulting, research, and community engagement roles, including time spent as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University and President of Planning Students for Diversity. Cymone holds a Master's Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Rights and Development from Wells College.
