Izaak Torres

Izaak Torres is an experienced electrical professional with a diverse background in electrical code enforcement and project management. Currently serving as the Senior Building Code Official for the Town of Mooresville NC since July 2023, Izaak previously held the position of Code Enforcement Officer at Mecklenburg County from April 2020 to August 2023, focusing on commercial electrical plans review. Prior to these roles, Izaak owned Tower Electric Contractors INC, managing industrial, commercial, residential, and controls projects from January 2016 to August 2023. Izaak's experience also includes working as an Industrial Electrician and instrumentation and controls technician for the City of Homestead from March 2014 to April 2023, and serving as Electrical Foreman at both American Electric Inc of Miami and Benson Electrical from 2005 to 2014. Izaak completed the ABCI Electrical apprenticeship program and earned a Journeyman Electrical degree.
