Shawn Knapp

Shawn Knapp is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as the Director of Public Works and Town Engineer for the Town of Moraga since April 2017, with a notable record of managing Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and development projects, including federally declared disaster recovery efforts. Prior to this role, Shawn held the position of Associate Engineer at the City of Pleasant Hill from October 2001 to April 2017, where responsibilities included preparing the CIP and managing project schedules and budgets. Earlier in the career, Shawn worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Fisher-Nickel, Inc., focusing on project management for equipment testing and field survey analysis. Shawn earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
