Katelyn O'Brien, MPA, MS, currently serves as the Assistant Town Administrator and HR Director for the Town of Norfolk since December 2022. Previously, Katelyn held similar roles as Assistant Town Administrator and HR Director for the Town of Dover, MA from January 2020 to December 2022. Katelyn's career began in municipal government with positions including Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Westborough and Community Information Specialist for the Town of Foxborough. Other notable roles include HR Assistant for the Town of Wayland, Assistant Editor at the Massachusetts Municipal Association/MIIA, where Katelyn contributed to various publications, and Research Assistant at both The Eleanor Roosevelt Papers Project and ACLU-National Prisoners Project. Katelyn holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Master of Science in Political Science from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University.
