Kalpana Rajgopalan

Kalpana Rajgopalan is an experienced professional in public administration and emergency services, currently serving as Deputy Fire Chief for the Town of Oakville since August 2021. Prior to this role, Kalpana held the position of Associate Director of Public Health for the City of Toronto for a brief period in 2021. From April 2018 to April 2021, Kalpana was the Assistant Chief of Professional Development & Accreditation with Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services. Additionally, Kalpana worked at the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General from 2007 to 2018, where responsibilities included Manager of Academic Standards and Evaluation and Program Manager for Emergency Management Training. Kalpana holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Birmingham, completed in 2021, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Bharathiar University, earned in 1993.
