Gretchen Darby

Gretchen Darby is the Founder and President of Gretchen Darby Consulting, LLC, established in January 2009, specializing in PR, media, communications, social media, promotions, and marketing. Currently serving as a member of the Town of Prosper's Community Engagement board since October 2022, with a term ending in September 2023, Gretchen previously held the position of Regional Director of Brand Marketing at ZaZa Hospitality from July 2002 to December 2006, where responsibilities included brand positioning and strategic global marketing. Gretchen's early career included a role as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader from April 2000 to April 2002, earning Rookie of the Year honors. Educated at The University of Texas at Austin, Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, alongside a high school diploma from Plano East Sr High School.
