John Harris has a strong background in law enforcement, with extensive experience as a Police Chief. John served as the Police Chief for the Town of Sahuarita from April 2006 to present. Prior to that, they held the same position in Evanston, WY from January 2004 to October 2006, and in Springfield, IL from April 1995 to June 2006. John started their career in Tucson, AZ as an Assistant Chief from August 1974 to June 1993.
John Harris completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Administration/Law enforcement from the University of Arizona in the years 1976 to 1980. John then went on to pursue their Master of Arts (MA) from Western Illinois University from 2000 to 2003.
