John Bucherati

John Bucherati is the current Chief of Police at the Town of Seymour, CT since January 2022. Prior to this role, John served as the Deputy Chief at the Fairfield Police Department in Fairfield, CT from October 1990 to January 2022, where he also held the position of Captain. John holds a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Sacred Heart University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the same university. Additionally, he has a Certification of Completion in Computer Electronics from Porter and Chester Institute completed in 1999.
