C.j. Jarecki

C.J. Jarecki is a seasoned building official with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as the Chief Building Official for the Town of Sunnyvale TX since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jarecki held similar positions as Chief Building Official for the City of Temple, TX, and the Town of Vail, contributing to significant building oversight from May 2023 to April 2024 and October 2017 to May 2023, respectively. Jarecki also worked as Campus Building Official at the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Colorado Denver, where expertise was developed in building compliance and safety regulations. Early career experience includes roles as a Building Inspector and an Outage Coordinator/Supervisor at the University of Colorado Denver, as well as carpentry work for various employers from 1992 to 2005. Academic qualifications include an Associate of Science degree in Fire Science from Red Rocks Community College and further education at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
