David Doy

Chief Community Planner at Town of Victoria Park

David Doy has extensive experience in urban planning and management, currently serving as Acting Chief Executive Officer and Manager of Place Planning at the Town of Victoria Park since May 2018. In this role, David leads a multi-disciplinary urban unit focused on strategic planning, urban design, and economic development. Previously, David worked as Place Manager at the City of Vincent from March 2014 to May 2018, overseeing significant urban design improvements and community development initiatives. Earlier positions include Urban Planner at RobertsDay and Planning Consultant at Planning Solutions, along with experience in education as a Physical Education Teacher and School Sports Coordinator. David holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Education in Health and Physical Education from Edith Cowan University.
