Mark Massoud is an experienced professional in land use and environmental planning with a career spanning over three decades in various municipalities. Currently serving as the Administrator for Land Use and Building Services for the Town of Watertown since August 2016, Mark previously held the position of Zoning and Land Use Official for the Town of Southbury, where responsibilities included managing zoning violations and land use inspections. Earlier experiences include serving as the Director of Wetlands and Watercourses for the Town of Greenwich, where Mark enhanced permit processing protocols and developed lake management policies. Mark's tenure as an Environmental Planner/Inspector for the City of Danbury involved ensuring public health and safety during hazardous materials incidents and creating performance standards for pollutant reduction. Mark holds a Master of Science in Urban Studies from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northeastern University.
