Brian Dupont

Brian DuPont is an accomplished Director of Information Technology for the Town of Wellesley, MA, since October 2004, providing strategic leadership and overseeing daily operations of the IT Department. With a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Brian has held various roles, including GIS Manager, GIS Administrator, and GIS Analyst, engaging with department managers and elected officials on GIS project planning and infrastructure management. Prior experience includes serving as a GIS Analyst for the Cape Cod Commission, contributing to nutrient loading assessments and providing technical support for wastewater initiatives. Brian holds a BA in Geography from Clark University, a Graduate Certificate in Local Government Leadership & Management from Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School, and completed coursework towards an MS in Geography at Penn State University.
