Nomar Vizcarrondo

Nomar Vizcarrondo has extensive experience in communications and media, currently serving in the role of Communications/Media for the Town of West New York, NJ since March 2020. As Creative Supervisor at The CauseWay Agency since May 2018, Vizcarrondo reviews print and TV concepts for cultural accuracy and creativity while participating in multicultural focus groups to gather consumer insights. Prior experience includes serving as Content/News Director for Univision Communications Inc. from January 2002 to November 2017, overseeing local content and newscast production for WADO-AM. Vizcarrondo has held significant leadership roles, such as Vice President/General Manager at Mega Communications and Program Director/Operations Manager at Spanish Broadcasting System. Early career as Production Engineer/Board Operator at WKAQ AM & FM laid a strong foundation in broadcasting. Vizcarrondo holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico-Metropolitan Campus.
