Bob Shields

Bob Shields is an accomplished sales manager with extensive experience in the mortgage and real estate sectors. Currently serving as Branch Sales Manager at TowneBank Mortgage since August 2016, Bob specializes in recruiting mortgage loan officers and establishing the bank's Reverse Mortgage operations in Maryland and Northern Virginia. Previous roles include Branch Manager at Gateway Mortgage Group and Proficio Mortgage Ventures, where Bob oversaw operations including processing, compliance, and marketing. As Senior Vice President at 1st Mariner Bank, Bob managed a division focused on Reverse and Conventional Mortgages on a national scale. Bob's real estate expertise began as an Associate Broker and Real Estate Broker in various firms, complemented by a solid foundation in manufacturing and management through early career positions at Harrigan Roller Company and Lesney AMT Corporation.
