Laurence Imbert

Laurence Imbert is an experienced educator and artist, currently serving as a Teacher of Art and Art History at Townley Grammar School since August 2022, following a role as an Art and Photography teacher at Leigh Academy Blackheath. Laurence has a diverse portfolio in art education, having previously worked as an Art Teacher at Weald Of Kent Grammar School Academy Trust and The UCL Academy. Additionally, Laurence has extensive freelance experience as an Illustrator with LaurenceDesign and has held various artistic roles in theatre, including Set and Costume Designer at The Chicken Shed Theatre and as a Scenic Artist for Ingenius. Educational qualifications include a PGCE in Art and Design from Goldsmiths, University of London, a Master's in Theatre Design from Boston University, and a Bachelor's in Interior Architecture from Institut Saint Luc.
