Joe Hansen

Joe Hansen has a diverse work experience in the digital media industry. Joe is currently working at BLOX Digital, where they started in 2019 as a Sr. Product Manager and has progressed to the Director of Solutions Support. Prior to that, Joe worked at Adams Publishing Group LLC as the Director of Platform Development and Regional Production Director. Joe also served as the Director of Platform Development at Pioneer News Group. Joe began their career at the Reno Gazette-Journal as an Assistant Pre-Press Manager and later held the role of Assistant Production Director at the Argus Leader. Joe then joined the Salinas Californian as a Production/IT Director and moved on to become the IT & Online Director at the Idaho Press-Tribune. With their extensive experience and progression through various roles, Joe has acquired a strong skillset in digital development, project management, and team leadership.

Joe Hansen attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Physics - Math, but did not earn a degree. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1992, they studied Astrophysics at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Joe also studied Astrophysics at UCLA from 1988 to 1990. No degrees were obtained in any of these educational experiences.
