Angela Benoit has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Angela started their career in 2002 as a Registered Nurse L&D at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. Angela later took on the role of Director of Women's Services at the same organization, where they provided fiscal and operational management for the department. Angela also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Lamar University, supporting nursing students in the acute care clinical setting. Angela then moved on to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, where they held positions as the Director of Women's Services and later as the Administrative Director of Women's and Children's Services. Most recently, Angela worked as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. Angela is currently employed as the CNO at Townsen Memorial.
Angela Benoit has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. Angela also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Lamar University. Angela has additional certifications including Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) from The National Certification Corporation obtained in 2019, Nurse Executive-Board Certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center obtained in 2015, and RNC-OB Inpatient Obstetrics from The National Certification Corporation obtained in 2006.
