Aleece Southern

Aleece Southern has a diverse and extensive work experience. Aleece began their career as a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 2008 before moving on to become a Small Business Banker at JPMorgan Chase in 2009. Aleece then joined the Houston Chronicle in 2012, where they held various roles including Business Development Sales Specialist, Digital Sales Manager, Regional Sales Director, and Senior Sales Director. During their time at the Houston Chronicle, they led multiple sales teams, focused on total revenue and digital growth, and provided coaching and development for their team. In 2020, Aleece Southern joined Townsquare Media as the Director of Sales, Ignite - West and Midwest Regions, where they developed and grew an award-winning sales team across multiple markets. Aleece is currently serving as the Vice President of Sales at Townsquare Media, where they are responsible for identifying growth areas, setting sales goals, monitoring the market, and collaborating with other departments to improve company efficiency. Aleece Southern's professional experience showcases their expertise in sales, leadership, and revenue growth.

Aleece Southern attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies. Additionally, Aleece has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Hearst: Leadership Development Program from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in June 2020, the 40 under 40 Leadership Advisory Board from the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce in May 2020, the Digital Media Sales Certification from IAB in May 2014, and the Google AdWords certification from Google in October 2012.
