Jacklyn Corley has a diverse work experience in media and publishing. Jacklyn started their career as an Associate Editor at The Courier, where they worked as a stringer, reporter, and trained reporters. Jacklyn then joined Advance Internet as a Social Media Producer for NJ.com/SILive.com. Jacklyn continued to advance in their career by joining Patch.com as a Regional Editor, managing a team of editors and launching the Freehold Patch site. At Word Riot Press, they founded an online literary magazine and developed a small publishing press, publishing notable books. Jacklyn also served as the President of Word Riot Inc, a non-profit organization providing financial support to writers. Jacklyn later served as the Regional Digital Managing Editor for Townsquare Media, where they directed content strategy for a cluster of radio stations and managed the digital presence. Jacklyn eventually became the Vice President of Digital Strategy and Vice President of Content & Programming, overseeing operations and strategy for Townsquare's radio stations and companion websites. Additionally, they owned Hudson Valley Drone Solutions, offering drone services for photography and videography.

Jacklyn Corley has a strong educational background in creative writing and English. Jacklyn obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from Bennington College, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, Jacklyn completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English at Haverford College, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Jacklyn also holds a certification in Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) from the Federal Aviation Administration. Jacklyn obtained this certification in October 2019, indicating their expertise in commercial drone operation.
