Benjamin Lowenthal is the Vice President for Administration and Finance and Chief Fiscal Officer at Towson University. Benjamin has over twenty years of experience in financial management and administration. Prior to joining Towson University, they served as the Associate Vice President of Financial Services at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from August 2008 to June 2018. Benjamin also served as the President/ Treasurer of Shearith Israel Congregation from September 2006 to July 2015.

Benjamin Lowenthal's educational career includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Baltimore in the field of Business Administration, Management and Operations. Benjamin also has a Bachelors & Masters in Talmudic Law from Ner Israel. Additionally, they have an Accounting and Economics degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is certified from the State of Maryland DLLR as a CPA.
