Brian Jara

Brian Jara is an accomplished professional in higher education, currently serving as the Director of Inclusive Excellence Education and Support at Towson University since February 2017. Brian has held multiple roles at the institution, including Assistant Director of Diversity Training & Educational Initiatives and Coordinator of Diversity Training and Initiatives in the Office of Inclusion and Institutional Equity. Additionally, Brian served as Interim Director of the Center for Student Diversity and Associate Director of Cultural Competency Education at the same center. Prior to Towson University, Brian was a Senior Lecturer in Women's and Gender Studies at West Virginia University from July 2011 to June 2015. Brian holds a Master of Education in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University.
