Patrick McQuown

Patrick McQuown is an accomplished Executive Director and entrepreneur with extensive experience in promoting innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurial mindsets across various educational institutions and organizations. Currently, McQuown serves as the Executive Director and founder of The StarTUp at Towson University, recognized as one of the largest Entrepreneur Support Organizations in the U.S. Previously, McQuown held roles such as Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at James Madison University, Professor at Brown University, and Co-Founder of Silca Partners, with expertise in mobile/social media strategy. McQuown has also advised multiple startups, including Hellofriend and Rally Bus, and has contributed to the entrepreneurial landscape as a venture mentor at Yale University. Educational qualifications include an MS in Forensic Science from The George Washington University and a BS degree from American University.
