Shiva Pokhrel

Shiva Pokhrel is an experienced Instrument Support Specialist in Materials Research at Towson University, responsible for assisting faculty with the operation and maintenance of advanced instrumentation and training facility users. Prior to this role, Shiva served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Wayne State University, where research focused on electrical percolation, magnetoresistance, and superconductivity in nanoparticle composites, while also teaching undergraduate physics classes. Additionally, experience at the University of Massachusetts Boston involved designing plasmonic Bragg reflector cavities and similar teaching responsibilities. Shiva holds a PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from Wayne State University and a Master's degree in Applied Physics from UMass Boston.
