Steven Isberg

Steven Isberg has held the position of Chair in the Department of Accounting at Towson University since June 2019, overseeing a faculty group that includes 16 full-time and up to 12 adjunct members within the College of Business and Economics. With a long-standing affiliation with the Credit Research Foundation as a Senior Research Fellow since August 1999, Steven focuses on emerging trends in business-to-business credit. From January 2009 to June 2019, Steven contributed as a Faculty Fellow at the University of Baltimore's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, offering pro-bono consulting and student supervision for entrepreneurial projects. Previously, Steven served as an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Baltimore from August 1988 to June 2019, teaching various aspects of corporate finance. Steven is also the former Principal of Charles Business and Financial Consulting from 1995 to 2014. Educational credentials include a PhD in Economics and Finance from Binghamton University and a BA in Economics from the State University of New York Cortland.
