Vincent E. Thomas

Vincent E. Thomas is an accomplished dance professional with extensive experience in performance and choreography. Currently serving as the Associate Choreographer for the Houston Grand Opera's INTELLIGENCE Opera since January 2019, Vincent has also been a Professor of Dance at Towson University since August 2002, focusing on modern technique and a vibrant men's movement program. As the Founder and Artistic Director of VTDance since 2002, Vincent emphasizes contemporary dance, improvisation, and multifaceted artistic collaborations. Previous experience includes performing as a dancer with the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange from 1998 to 2002. Vincent holds a Master’s Degree in Dance Performance and Choreography from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Teacher Education from the University of South Carolina.
