Johan Sebregts

Johan Sebregts is the current director at Toxys, a position they have held since 2013.

Sebregts has a long history of working in investment and management positions, starting with their work as a project manager at NV REWIN West-Brabant from 2002 to 2006. In this role, they were responsible for initiating and stimulating collaborations between businesses and knowledge institutions in order to strengthen the regional economy.

From 2006 to 2012, Sebregts was the general director at Stichting Starterslift, where they managed capital funds for the organization. In 2012, they left Stichting Starterslift to join Toxys as its director.

Sebregts has also worked as a self-employed entrepreneur in the fishing industry, running their own company Sebregts Hengelsport from 1994 to 1999. Johan then went on to work as the Chief Operating Officer at Ultimate Hengelsport BV from 2000 to 2002.

Johan Sebregts has a master's degree in economic geography from the University of Amsterdam. Johan also has a VWO from Norbertus College and a HAVO from Norbertus College. Johan is certified by the KNVB in UEFA C Youth.
