Lucía Fernández Tamargo has a diverse work experience in the field of game development. Lucía started their career as a Game Programmer at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in 2019 and worked there until 2020. During this time, they gained valuable experience in programming for games.

In 2020, Lucía joined Microsoft as a Game Programmer and worked on the Minecraft Education Edition 2020 Project. Lucía was responsible for programming using the commands and language of Minecraft and also conducted presentations and testing in schools.

After that, they worked as a Pre-Alpha Tester at Blackmouth Games, where they tested the Alpha version of the "Hit N Rush" videogame and provided bug reports and feedback.

In 2021, Lucía joined Motor & Sport Institute as a Game Programmer, where they worked on the "PokyDrivers" project. Lucía'sresponsibilities included programming, bug fixing, optimization, performance, and QA testing.

In the same year, Lucía also worked at Next Level Studio UFV as a Game Programmer, where they contributed to the development of the "Caminos Legendarios" project using Unity C# for Android and PC platforms.

Lucía then joined SITCOM (Grupo Avalon Tecnologías de la Información) S.L. as a Unity Programmer in 2022 and later moved to Zerouno Games as a Game Programmer, where they also worked as a Porting Programmer Assistant.

Currently, Lucía is working at Toya as a Game Developer. Lucía started as a Game Developer in 2022 and was promoted to Lead Game Developer in 2023.

Lucía Fernández Tamargo completed their education from 2009 to 2017 at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música "Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos," where they obtained elementary education in music and pursued four years of professional education. Lucía then attended IES Pintor Luis Saez from 2012 to 2018, where they completed their Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) and Science-based high school studies (Bachillerato de Ciencias de la Salud). Subsequently, from 2018 to 2022, Lucía pursued a Bachelor's degree in Video Game Creation and Narrative at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. Additionally, they also earned an in-house certification as a Technical Artist. Furthermore, in 2019, they received the "First Certificate in English (B2)" from Cambridge Assessment English and obtained the "Unity Devs: AR+VR" certification from Udemy in August 2021.
