Rebecca Sycamore has a diverse work experience in the field of homelessness and support. Rebecca started their career as the Director of Regional Development for Homeless Link in 2005 and held this role until 2009. Rebecca then became the Chief Executive of Beyond Food Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports homeless individuals through food and cooking programs. In 2010, they joined Broadway Homelessness and Support as the Director of External Affairs, where they focused on promoting the organization's mission and services. In 2014, Rebecca transitioned to St Mungo's, initially working as the Director of Fundraising and Communications before becoming the Executive Director of Development. Most recently, in 2023, they assumed the position of Chief Executive at Toynbee Hall. Throughout their career, Rebecca has consistently demonstrated a dedication to improving the lives of homeless individuals and raising awareness about the issue.

Rebecca Sycamore earned a BSc in Politics and Modern History from Brunel University London from 1989 to 1992. Rebecca also obtained a Dip SW & MSc in Social Work & Applied Social Science from the University of Stirling from 1995 to 1997.
