Aykut Gidergi

Aykut Gidergi has over 25 years of experience in the tire manufacturing industry. Aykut currently holds the position of President and COO at Toyo Tires, starting in July 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Plant General Manager at Toyo Tires from February 2021 to July 2023. Before joining Toyo Tires, Aykut worked at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 26 years. Their roles at Goodyear included Director of Manufacturing from January 2018 to February 2021, Manufacturing Director from July 2015 to December 2017, Plant Manager from January 2012 to July 2015, Production Manager from October 2007 to December 2011, Business Team Manager from January 2005 to September 2007, Small Business Team Leader from January 1998 to December 2004, and Process Engineer from September 1995 to January 1998.

From 1986 to 1992, Aykut Gidergi attended Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, where they obtained a degree in chemical engineering.
