Shariq Alam

Shariq Alam is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in product design and engineering management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Toyoda Gosei Americas since October 2022, Shariq previously held the position of Senior Product Engineer at Ford Motor Company from October 2013 to September 2022, where responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams to resolve design and fit issues for interior systems. Earlier, Shariq worked as a Design Engineer at Toyoda Gosei from April 2007 to September 2013, focusing on 3D product design for multiple Toyota vehicles, and held engineering positions at Emergent Systems and DMC. Shariq holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
