Nicole Rivard Sphr

Nicole Rivard, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has over 20 years of diverse work experience. Nicole is currently the Human Resources Director at Toyon Research Corporation, where they have held various HR roles since 2010. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Manager at Intercontinental Hotels Group - Holiday Inn Santa Barbara/Goleta, where they were responsible for all HR functions and achieved high scores on internal HR compliance audits. Nicole also had a role as the Marketing/Public Relations Chair at the Santa Barbara Human Resources Association, where they were responsible for creating marketing material and assisting with PR needs. Nicole has also worked as a Copy Editor/Newsletter Author at Leadership Services and as a Clerk at Albertson's. Nicole gained experience as an Investigative Aide at the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, Bureau of Investigation. Overall, Nicole's work experience demonstrates their expertise in HR, marketing, and public relations.

Nicole Rivard, SPHR, SHRM-SCP obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara, graduating in 2000. In 2004, they pursued further education at UC Santa Barbara and completed an HR Management Professional Certificate program in Human Resources. Nicole Rivard also holds additional certifications including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification obtained from the HR Certification Institute in December 2008 and the SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional) Certification obtained from the SHRM Certification in February 2015.
