Dave Barrett

Dave Barrett has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Dave currently holds the position of Head of People and Culture at Toyota Connected Europe since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the General Manager HR & General Administration at Toyota Boshoku Europe N.V. from January 2021 to June 2022. Before that, they worked at Toyota Motor Europe, starting as an Employee Relations Manager in January 2014 and holding the role until December 2020. In 2013, they briefly worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK as an Employee Relations Principle Specialist. Dave began their career with Toyota Motor Europe in 2005 and served in various roles including Resources Planning Senior Specialist from April 2009 to December 2012, HR Emergency Action Response Team from December 2008 to March 2009, Graduate Recruitment Specialist from January 2008 to November 2008, and HR Business Partner (R&D, Mfg Divisions) from September 2005 to December 2007.

Dave Barrett received their Masters in Business Economics from University College Cork, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. In 2018 to 2019, they pursued a Diploma in Personal Training & Strength and Conditioning at Setanta College.
