Franco Restelli is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of material handling and automation, currently serving as a Senior Advisor in I.C.T Research & Development at Toyota Material Handling Logistics Solutions since April 2008. Franco's expertise encompasses the design of various automated systems, including trilateral trucks and AGV trucks, along with the development of PLC software and RFID-based forklift guidance systems. As a project manager, Franco has overseen the quoting, selling, and realization of complex warehouse solutions, such as crane-based and shuttle-based warehouses, and has played a key role in integrating warehouse management software with ERP systems. Prior roles include Manager at Toyota Material Handling Italy and significant positions at GL Locatelli and Mechanica AGV, focused on AGV design and installation. Franco holds a degree in Meccanica Elettronica from Politecnico di Milano.
