Joost Segers

Joost Segers has extensive experience at Toyota Motor Europe since May 2002, holding various senior management and engineering roles, including Senior Manager of Social Impact and Corporate Planning, and Technical Training Manager, where responsibilities included managing European technical training for 29 distributors and coordinating training events. Joost also served as Team Leader for Component Technical, overseeing the setup of the EDER concept, conducting supplier audits, and managing a team of four. Prior to Toyota, Joost worked as a Project Engineer at Bosal, specializing in OE exhaust systems for GM, where tasks involved 3D CAD engineering, project coordination, and customer liaison. Joost holds an Advanced Diploma in Personal Leadership and Executive Coaching from Kingstown College and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from HTS-Autotechniek in the Netherlands.
