Kristen King has a diverse background in writing, marketing, and teaching. Kristen began their career as a Marketing Coordinator at Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers in 2009. Kristen then worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, Kristen joined FitToDo.com as the Communications + Content Manager before becoming the Digital Content Marketing Director at Toyota of Orlando in 2012. Kristen later worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Central Florida from 2015 to 2022, teaching courses on writing for public relations and advertising. Kristen is currently a freelance writer and content creator.
Kristen King's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at the University of Central Florida. Kristen pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Creative Writing and completed their studies in 2006. After a break in their education, they returned to the University of Central Florida in 2010 to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication. Kristen successfully finished their studies in 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Kristen King obtained a Content Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy in July 2023.
