Chen Zou

Chen Zou is a proficient machine learning scientist and senior robotics software engineer at iRobot since July 2016, specializing in the development of advanced perception models for household robots. Key achievements include leading a team to establish a centralized repository for training and benchmarking deep vision models and architecting a dockerized production environment for data management in AWS. Previously, as a research assistant at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Chen Zou quantified SECM probe performance, developed predictive models using lasso regression, and presented research at a national conference. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Data Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
