Jarrod Olivier

Jarrod Olivier is a skilled professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics from the University of Cape Town, where education was completed in 2020. Currently, Jarrod works as a Team Member at Toyota South Africa, gaining hands-on experience on the automotive assembly line while applying the principles of the Toyota Way since July 2021. Previous experience includes a brief role as a Mechanic at Derek Graham International, where Jarrod serviced and overhauled motorbikes, and a summer internship at Duzi Brakes, focusing on refurbishing clutch actuators and assisting in diagnostics for control systems. Additionally, Jarrod contributed as a UCT EBE Mentor, supporting first-year engineering students, and served as a Tutor for Embedded Systems II at the University of Cape Town. Early career involvement included a sales position at Watt's on DVD.
