Gary Hopkinson

Gary Hopkinson has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in automotive paint operations. Since August 2010, Gary has served as Production Manager Paint at Toyota, where responsibilities include managing car paint operations, overseeing a department with over 360 employees and an annual budget exceeding $100 million. Prior to Toyota, Gary worked at NUMMI since November 1988, holding various positions such as Manufacturing Operations Passenger Paint Assistant Manager and Assistant Manager Plastics, where responsibilities encompassed production management and just-in-time delivery logistics. Additional roles included Project Leader for the North Passenger Paint launch, focusing on production planning and team training. Earlier in Gary's career, service in the United States Navy as a 2nd Class Petty Officer involved managing multiple mess halls and supply logistics. Gary is currently pursuing a degree at Ohlone College.
