Takefumi Shiga

Takefumi Shiga is executive vice president, Production Engineering and Manufacturing for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA). He has responsibility for all aspects of TMNA’s production engineering operations and 14 vehicle and unit plants in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He is also overseeing the development of Toyota Battery Manufacturing, North Carolina and serves on TMNA’s North American Executive Committee.

Prior to his current role, Shiga served as chief project leader for the Production Group in North America.

Shiga joined TMC in 1992 and has held numerous roles in engineering and manufacturing.

Shiga graduated from Kyoto University with a master’s degree in Metallurgy.
