Markos Mellos

Markos Mellos is an experienced technology and business professional currently serving as the Chief Information Officer for Energy and Commodities at TP ICAP since January 2024. In addition, Markos co-founded Gastro Trails in July 2022, a FoodTech/EdTech startup focused on enhancing culinary travel through a gastronomic compass designed for food enthusiasts. Prior to these roles, Markos accumulated significant experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where responsibilities included leading technology for commodities and macro indices trading desks. Markos began the career with roles including Analyst/Developer at Calyon and Business Analyst at CIBC World Markets. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Financial Markets and Derivatives from London Metropolitan University, as well as multiple degrees in Marketing and Business Administration from Kingston University and Coventry University.
