Prior to this role, Petrescu worked at PwC in Bucharest and San Francisco, advancing from Manager to Experienced Senior Associate between 1999 and 2004. Earlier career experience includes a progression from Junior to Assistant Manager at Coopers & Lybrand from 1995 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a Certified Public Accountant designation from the California Board of Accountancy, completion of ACCA in the UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Bucharest Polytechnic University.
