Dr. Michael Hort is a Research Associate specializing in drug and non-drug interventions at the Institut für Qualität und Wirtschaftlichkeit im Gesundheitswesen (IQWiG) since February 2022, where responsibilities include project management, evaluation of clinical studies, literature screening, and preparation of scientific reports. Prior to this role, Dr. Hort enhanced capabilities in pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology during a professional seminar at ATV GmbH and managed educational projects while at the University Clinic Bonn, where supervision of students and scientific presentations were part of the role. Dr. Hort holds a Doctor of Science in Medical Microbiology, a Master of Science in Microbiology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, all obtained from the University of Bonn.
