Philippe Zimmermann

Philippe Zimmermann is a highly skilled electrical engineer with extensive experience in the transportation and industrial sectors. Currently serving as Chef de projets matériel roulant ferroviaire at Transports publics fribourgeois - TPF since August 2023, Philippe previously worked as an Ingénieur en électrotechnique at SBB CFF FFS from December 2015 to July 2023, where responsibilities included developing industrial solutions for modernization and revision of traction vehicles. Prior to that, Philippe held similar roles at CPAutomation SA, focusing on the design of electrotechnical systems and equipment, and at FASEL G. & PARTNER SA, with early experience as an Apprenti monteur-électricien at Groupe E Connect SA. Philippe's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ecole d'ingénieurs et d'architectes de Fribourg and additional qualifications in EPLAN.
